Scientific Research & Awareness Model (SAM ) has been launched
Objectives:
- Increasing public awareness about Hepatitis C.
- Helping in the improvement of Scientific Research in     Egypt through encouraging students to admit researches.
Zero Phase:
Delegates Recruitment & Training
Training Covering the following topics:
- Intro to Hepatitis C
- Intro about HealthCare system in Egypt
- Presentation Skills
- Communication Skills
- Team Work
- Planning
- Advertising in Healthcare Sector
- Project Management
Delegates are divided into 8 teams that will pass by 2 evaluative phases for their proposed public awareness plan all over Egypt.
1st phase
Each team is asked to prepare a plan for an awareness campaign about Hepatitis C to a chosen target group.
Preceded by Plans Evaluation; the teams number will be reduced to 5 teams.
Only those 5 teams' plans will be funded for phase 2.
2nd phase
Teams are asked to put their plans from paper into action directly with their target group (Schools, hospitals, pharmacies, villages, etc...)
One Day Conference
The first runner's project will be funded with the fund they need to implement their project.
Phases 1&2 will be presented by PowerPoint presentations in front of Medical panel in the Conference Hall, Faculty of Medicine Cairo University.
